Les Allues is approximately 590 miles from Calais. Driving time is about nine hours (allow a couple of hours for stops) on quick motorway route nearly all the way, or a more leisurely excursion taking in places of interest such as Reims and Beaune. Driving time from Le Havre is slightly less. If leaving the channel port early in the day an overnight stop is not really necessary. You may prefer to break your journey however, and there are good overnight hotels near the motorway at all major towns.
