Water Sports 

   From early May to the end of September, rafting is available on the Isere river near Meribel. 

 The Isere flows through beautiful scenery and steep sided gorges and is ideal for a first experience of the sport.  

Rafting trips can be booked locally for adults and children with fully qualified instructors who are English speaking and full safety equipment is provided - contact France Raft  for details - they have a base for white water sports which is about 20 minutes drive from Les Allues.

For those with more experience of rafting can book a trip on the faster flowing Doron river.

 

Trips are of varying length and there are special children's' trips too - minimum age 10 years.
