Meribel has mountain biking trails for all abilities, from beginner to expert. There are single tracks and downhill trails and these can be accessed via certain gondola and chairlifts, which have a summer timetable throughout July and August - see the 'Summer' page for this year's lift timetable.

Chalet Apartment Les Marmottes is well placed for mountain biking - the ''100 kms Mountain Bike Run'' passes through Les Allues very close the chalet. The map showing this trail and all others in the Three Valleys area can be downloaded here (pdf).

 The 100 km tail is dotted yellow and black and runs along the Tougnette ridge above Meribel to the Col de la Lune above Les Allues.  

Mountain bikes can be stored in the chalet basement, (no extra charge).

 

Guided bike trips with an instructor are very popular and are available for all ability levels. For beginners and families they are an excellent introduction to the sport.  Bikes, helmets etc are provided.
